ジャズベースの石橋敬一さんが老人ホームで音楽療法　　[ news ]

有名ジャズミュージシャンが、認知症の音楽療法に取り組んでいます。ナベサダや小曽根真さんとの競演などで知られるベースマン、石橋敬一さんの取り組みです。

ジャズの第一線で長年活躍した兵庫県姫路市のウッドベース奏者石橋敬一さん（５４）が、歌や音楽で患者を治療する音楽療法の世界に転身。老人ホームで認知症の高齢者の症状改善に取り組んでいる。（北海道新聞の記事より引用）

石橋さんのプロフィールはこちらに詳しく掲載されています。

ペットや音楽を用いた認知症の症状改善に向けた取り組みは、老人ホームごとに取り組むのではなく、もっと全国的に利用できるような仕組みにするといいと思います。自分が入居しているホームでは利用したくても利用できない、ようでは利用者にとってつらいですよね。
