高級有料老人ホームもさまざま [ column ]
このブログでも、高級有料老人ホームに関する記事をこれまでいくつか掲載してきましたが、ここにきて神戸製鋼や松下電器産業、セコムなどの異業種から続々と新規参入が行われています。
２０００年の介護保険法の施行をきっかけに、都市部で高級有料老人ホーム事業に乗り出す大企業が増えている。事業主体の多くは、本業と関わりのない“畑違い”の企業だ。事業の採算リスクだけでなく、もうけすぎると「老人を食い物にする」との批判にさらされかねない難しさがある中で、参入が相次ぐのはなぜか。新たなシルバービジネスの魅力を探った。（FujiSankei Business i.の記事より引用）
高級老人ホームといえば、高額な入居一時金が話題になりますが、こちらの記事にある大阪ガス系のアクティブライフが運営する有料老人ホーム「アクティブライフ豊中」は、入居一時金がかからないのが特徴です。そのぶん、42万円ほどの月額利用料が発生します。
一時は「高級か格安かの選択」に流れがちだった有料老人ホーム選びですが、高級老人ホームにもさまざまな料金体系が導入され始め、入居希望者にとってはより事前に調査・研究しておくことが求められます。
