東京都、身体拘束ゼロ運動を推進する施設を公表 [ news ]
老人ホームなどでの虐待が、時折話題に上ります。虐待というのは何も暴力などによるものだけでなく、「基本的な権利」として有しているはずの物事を禁止したり押さえつけたりすることも含まれるという考え方も多くあります。
東京都では「身体拘束ゼロ運動推進施設ポスター」というものを配布しています。特別養護老人ホームなどの介護施設で禁止されている「身体拘束」の廃止に取り組んでいる施設や事務所に貼られています。
身体拘束とは、ベルトや柵やヒモなどで患者の行動を制限することを指し、身体拘束廃止に取り組んでいると申請してきた施設や事務所にポスターを配布し、その配布施設の公表を行いました。
ポスターは、中央部に施設・事業所名を記入し、施設等の入り口やロビーに掲示することで、身体拘束廃止の取り組みを、利用者や家族等に向けて宣言するもの。都では、このポスターを配付した施設等を、「身体拘束ゼロ運動推進施設」と位置づけている。また、「身体拘束ゼロ運動推進施設」の一覧を公表しており、インターネットでの閲覧や、福祉保健局高齢社会対策部（都庁第一本庁舎24階北側）などで閲覧できる取り組みを実施している。（ふくしチャンネルの記事より引用）
