奈良県の特養でノロウイルス集団感染　　[ news ]

奈良県宇陀市の特別養護老人ホーム（特養）で、感染性胃腸炎の集団発生がありました。集団発生があったのは、奈良県宇陀市榛原区長峯にある特別養護老人ホーム「ゆぁほうむ榛原」です。1月16日に奈良県が発表しました。

県によると、入所者と職員計33人が、今月9日から16日までの間に、下痢、発熱、嘔吐（おうと）を訴えた。16日に県保健環境研究センターが実施した検便検査で4人の発症者からノロウイルスを検出した。（奈良新聞の記事より引用）

ノロウイルスへの感染とのことです。ノロウイルス感染症については、こちらのページが詳しいです。もっとも重要で有効な予防手段は「手洗い」とあります。これで予防できるのなら、私たちも手洗いで予防しないといけませんね。

3月3日 にNHKが午後7時のニュースで｢全国で初めて東京都が水道水のノロウイルス調査を行うことを報道｡

翌日､朝日新聞も下記のように報道した｡
水道水のノロウイルス調査へ　東京都が来年度から

　冬の「おなかのかぜ」の主犯格とされるノロウイルス。水道水に含まれていないかの実態調査に東京都水道局が来年度から乗り出す。ウイルス対象の上水道の調査は、全国的にも珍しい。
　大腸菌や重金属の監視をしている水質センター（東京都文京区）が、川から取った水や、浄水場での各処理段階での水について、ウイルスの有無や濃度を調べる。検査技術習得などを経て、年内には数カ所の浄水場で検査を始める予定だ。

　ノロウイルスは、下痢や嘔吐（おうと）などを伴う感染性胃腸炎を起こす。加熱が不十分な食品などが原因と考えられているが、人の腸内で増え、便などを介して海へ流れ、カキなど貝類に蓄積されることもわかっており、川から浄水場にまぎれ込む可能性が否定できない。
