京阪電鉄が介護付き老人ホーム事業に参入 [ news ]
京阪電鉄が、グループ企業の京阪ライフサポートを通じて介護付き老人ホーム事業に参入します（10月17日付けでプレスリリースも出ています）。関西の大手私鉄では初の老人ホーム事業への参入にあたります。
この施設の特長としては、介護保険における特定施設入所者生活介護の基準の2倍以上の人数となる手厚い職員体制を整えるほか、リビング・ダイニング、ラウンジ、多目的ホールなどの共用部分を広く充実させるとともに、健康管理室、機能訓練室などの健康管理機能、ヘアサロン、トランクルーム、図書コーナーなどの生活機能、さらにご家族とのかかわりを大切にしていただくためのファミリールームやゲストルームを施設内に備えます。（プレスリリース［PDF］より）
大阪府枚方市にある同社の独身寮を6億円かけて改修し、2006年3月に介護付き老人ホーム「ローズライフくずは」として開設するとのこと。上に引用したプレスリリースを見た印象では、わりとアッパークラス向けの施設に見えます。
